What is Profweb?

Profweb was initiated by the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) in collaboration with partners from the collegial network in Quebec.

The pedagogical resources of Profweb are rendered available to college teachers in order to support and promote IT integration in teaching and learning.

Profweb is presented:

• As a gateway to products and services designed for teachers who wish to integrate IT in their teaching and learning activities;
• As a personal space on a Web server where teachers are allowed to keep various pedagogical resources.

Profweb is therefore contributing to:

• A larger distribution of products and services developed by members of the collegial community who are working towards integrating IT into the practice of teaching and learning;
• The development of an educational community by promoting, sharing and facilitating access to resources;
• The professional development and stimulation of teachers by providing them with easy access to resources and a forum in which to share and discuss IT integration in their professional practice.
