In order to expand the community of practice that has developed in recent years, the corporation has decided to turn to Moodle, a free digital learning environment which already benefits from a large community of development. DECclic will continue its mission to offer its members a common tool, hosted and maintained on central servers, and all the user training and support that have been its strength for over ten years.

Since the end of January, as part of an overall plan to develop the CCDMD Online English Language Learning Centre, CCDMD has been actively seeking input from a variety of CEGEP professionals about their interest in and use of CCDMD resources. Being able to establish a clearer picture of who currently uses their resources and which resources, is critical to their future planning and development.

Traditional portfolios are slowly being replaced by web-based information management systems called digital portfolios or ePortfolios.
