1. User Agreement Acceptance

Welcome to Profweb's Personal Web Space.

Creation of a Basic Site in the Personal Web Space is subject to the current user agreement.

2. Description of Service

Profweb's Personal Web Space is mainly reserved for the web hosting of sites for teachers within Quebec's college network. The content of these sites must be for academic purposes at the collegiate level with a maximum capacity of 500Mo. The Basic Site assigned upon application can contain other Subsites created at a later date.

The Personal Web Space allows users to automatically install several applications which are freeware.

The user can decide to allow public access to their site or to create private access through the use of a hidden address, password, etc. Notwithstanding the type of access, information describing the site must be included on the List of Sites in the Personal Web Space.

Although content of the system is regularly backed up, the user is strongly advised to maintain a personal copy of all content in their account.

3. Registration

The use of the Personal Web Space requires the creation of a Basic Site which identifies its author and describes the Basic Site and any Subsites. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

4. Personal Information

Certain information, such as an e-mail address given during the application process for the site, will not be publicly divulged and is subject to laws for the protection of personal information.
