Monday April 19 2010 - Gina Lavine - Collège Laflèche Gina Lavine and Lucie Cantin, both teachers of ESL respectively at Collège Lafleche and Collège Ellis, as well as Mariane Gazaille, a professor of second language instruction at UQTR developed a cross-level tutoring program using the VIA Telecommunication Platform to pair future ESL teachers at the university level with college students to advance their mastery of the English language.

'Foundations of Effective Tutoring' is on online resource developed and produced by the CCDMD (Centre Collegial de Developpement de Materiel Didactique) and currently contains five modules, between two and three hours each, designed to help develop a solid set of competencies for students to effectively tutor their peers.
